There is a unique camera in America which will take only one picture for the next one thousand years. People will be able to see this picture in the year 2023. In this special project named Millennium Project, a camera has been installed in the city of Tucson, which has started working and will take pictures of the next one thousand years. The philosopher who created it has explained how it will work.
This camera has been created by Jonathan Keats, who is an experimental philosopher at the College of Fine Arts of the University of Arizona. The Melanium camera is designed for a specific use. It will take the slowest picture in the world, which will take a whole thousand years. It will contain photographs of all the residents of Tucson, Arizona for the next one thousand years. This picture will be a kind of time capsule.
The design of this Millennium Camry is like a pinhole camera. This type of camera was first made a thousand years ago. In this, there will be a thin sheet of 24 carat gold in a copper cylinder, which will have a small hole on one side. Light will come through this hole and hit the light sensitive surface behind. This surface is made up of multiple layers of oil paint pigment called road madder.

The entire camera is mounted on a steel pole and faces the desert near Tucson. If all goes according to plan, the end result will be a millennium-long picture. Keats says that there will be a lot of activity in 10 centuries, but the most permanent parts like mountains etc. will last for a long time, but the changing things like buildings etc. will be transparent according to their time.
Keats explains that in 500 years, if all the houses in front are removed, the mountains, land will be clearly visible and the houses etc. will become blurred. All changes will be like placing a picture one above the other. Only after this the complete picture will emerge as the final effect. There is also a question here whether the camera will be able to survive till the 31st century.
